We’ve been happy to be in a position to make a donation in support of such an amazing organisation! Together, we can make a difference. π
Whilst the majority of our fundraising supports local good causes, every two years we hold a golf day specifically to raise funds for international charities and causes. π
One of the good causes benefiting from your support is Unique Home Jalandhar an orphanage located in the Punjab which is dedicated to rescuing and nurturing abandoned and orphaned girls, giving them a safe haven and a chance at a brighter future. ππ§
At Unique Home, every child is treated with love, dignity, and care, regardless of caste, creed, or religion. The home provides not only shelter but also education, life skills, and emotional support, empowering these girls to grow into confident and self-reliant individuals. ππͺ
Unique Home also carries out outreach work to help strengthen families and reduce the risk of girls being abandoned. π§βπ§βπ§βπ§πͺ
In a society where female foeticide and abandonment are harsh realities, Unique Home is a powerful reminder of the value and potential of every girl. The girls here are not just given a homeβthey are given a family, a future, and a reason to dream. πβ¨
Together, we can help these girls thrive and show the world the power of kindness and community. π€π

At Rotary, we believe that integrity and ethical behavior are the cornerstones of a thriving community. That’s why the Rotary Four-Way Test is an essential tool we use to guide our actions and decisions. Adopted by Rotary in 1943 this simple yet powerful set of questions helps us navigate complex situations with clarity and moral purpose.
The Four-Way Test:
Is it the truth? π£οΈ
Is it fair to all concerned? βοΈ
Will it build goodwill and better friendships? π€
Will it be beneficial to all concerned? π
The Benefits:
β¨ Integrity and Honesty: By asking, “Is it the truth?” we ensure that our actions and communications are transparent and truthful, building trust and credibility.
β¨ Fairness and Equity: The question, “Is it fair to all concerned?” promotes fairness and justice, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone is treated with respect.
β¨ Goodwill and Friendship: “Will it build goodwill and better friendships?” reminds us to prioritize positive relationships and collaboration, strengthening our sense of community.
β¨ Beneficial Impact: Lastly, “Will it be beneficial to all concerned?” encourages us to consider the broader impact of our decisions, ensuring that our actions contribute to the greater good.
The Rotary Four-Way Test isn’t just a guideline for Rotary members β it’s a universal tool that can help anyone make better, more ethical decisions. Join us in embracing these principles and creating a brighter, more just world together. ππ
