Thanks to the help of the collectors from the Inner Wheel Club of Tettenhall and your generous donations to our Christmas Santa Sleigh appeal, we’ve made a joint donation to the Birch Thompson Memorial Fund, one of Inner Wheel’s chosen charities.
The donation will help the Fund to maintain and develop Gelliwig, a residential centre in Porthmadog, North Wales, which offers low-cost residential accommodation for young people from Wolverhampton and the wider West Midlands. 🏞️🏡
Since its formation in 1981, the Fund has helped thousands of young people develop their skills and talents and experience the outdoors. Gelliwig is a popular destination for school groups, youth groups, and other organisations from Wolverhampton, looking for a base for activities such as hiking, canoeing, and rock climbing. 🧗🚣♂️
