Thanks to the help of the collectors from the Inner Wheel Club of Tettenhall and your generous donations to our Christmas Santa Sleigh appeal, weβve made a joint donation to the Birch Thompson Memorial Fund, one of Inner Wheelβs chosen charities.
The donation will help the Fund to maintain and develop Gelliwig, a residential centre in Porthmadog, North Wales, which offers low-cost residential accommodation for young people from Wolverhampton and the wider West Midlands. ποΈπ‘
Since its formation in 1981, the Fund has helped thousands of young people develop their skills and talents and experience the outdoors. Gelliwig is a popular destination for school groups, youth groups, and other organisations from Wolverhampton, looking for a base for activities such as hiking, canoeing, and rock climbing. π§π£ββοΈ
